🚨 Extreme Heat Advisory 🚨
Paterson residents please be advised that temperatures are expected to reach 93 degrees’ today Tuesday July 9, 2024. Please drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, wear light clothing, avoid doing strenuous outdoor activities, prolonged exposure to the sun and stay in a cool area.
The Paterson Free Public Libraries will be allowing residents to cool off inside of their facilities located below during normal business hours. Water will be available.
- Paterson Public Library 250 Broadway
- Northside Library 60 Temple Street
- Southside Library 930 Main Street
Always remember NEVER LEAVE CHILDREN AND ANIMALS IN A HOT CAR. This can be very dangerous and even fatal. If you begin to feel ill or have signs of heat exhaustion call 911 immediately. Be sure to check on your family and neighbors, especially the elderly and physically disabled.
