🚨 Severe Weather Alert 🚨

City of Paterson Office of Emergency Management would like to inform the residence of the City of Paterson, of possible Flash flooding occurring on Friday, June 14, 2024 as early as 2PM with activity peaking late afternoon / evening. 

HAZARDS:

Rainfall Rates:

• .10 – 0.30” of rain
• .10 - .025” of additional rain in the late evening

Wind Speeds:

• SW winds 7 -15 mph, gust 20-25 mph  
  

PRECAUTIONS:

• Do not walk, swim or drive through flood water,
• Remember, just six inches of moving water can knock you down, and one foot of moving water can sweep your vehicle away.
• Stay off bridges over fast-moving water.
• Follow all traffic warnings and detours.
• Do not drive around barricades or closed off streets.
• In case of emergency please call 911 immediately.
