STORM UPDATE
8PM, Monday, October 29, 2012
The City of Paterson Division of Water and Sewers
To all Paterson residents:

Please note that due to flooding as a result of the storm, it can be expected that certain areas of the city will experience sewer service problems and possibly even sewer back-ups into their homes.
This is an unfortunate impact of flooding along the Passaic river, where the outlet pipes that carry sewage away from the city's sewer system is located. In general, the closer your home is to the river, the more likely it will be that you will experience a problem.
As floodwaters recede in coming days, these service problems will diminish and service should return to normal.
