DOWNTOWN SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT
The
Downtown Special Improvement District was established in 1997 and is
responsible for providing clean and safe ambassadors in the Downtown area,
marketing the Downtown area, special events throughout the year, etc. The Paterson SID is the premier advocate of
the downtown business community and property owners in this area. A major event sponsored by the Paterson SID
is the 4th of July fireworks enjoyed by residents, business owners and
shoppers alike as well as the holiday police patrol campaign from "Black
Friday" through the Christmas holiday season.
