HILTON GARDEN INN AND CONFERENCE CENTER



   This hotel/conference center is adjacent to the front entrance of the St. Joseph's Hospital Center and on top of a new parking garage. The property is expected to open in 2016 and will feature 132 rooms, a 189 space parking garage, a full service restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, 40,000 sf of high tech meeting, banquet and conference space, an indoor pool, and indoor whirlpool, an exercise room, a roof top solarium with outdoor garden, a business center, a market pantry, vending areas, and a guest laundry room. To ensure efficient ongoing operations, the hotel will feature all necessary back-of-the-house space including an in-house laundry to service both the hotel and catering operations. The hotel and conference center serve as an extension to the recent renovations and improvements at the Medical Center.  St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center recently completed over $250 million dollars' worth of improvements on site as well as in the surrounding neighborhood. The hospital features 800 beds, 6,000 employees, 2,000 doctors and approximately 1,000 to 1,500 visitors per day. 
   In additional to the hotel and conference center, a new 104,000 sf Medical Office Building is being constructed which will house the New Jersey campus of New York Medical School while the remainder will be physician practices.
