The Division of Recreation is committed to providing quality service to the residents of Paterson, to develop an appreciation for the history, culture and contributions of the groups that contribute to the diversity of our city.
 
Our mission is to promote excellence in the lives of each resident in the city academically,
athletically and socially by providing programs that offer services for enrichment and social
awareness.  By adopting imaginative ideas we will begin the regeneration of our community.
