All staff, students and administrators should report to school on Monday, March 16th, for a regular school day. At the end of school day, packets for home instruction will be distributed for students to use while the district is closed from Tuesday, March 17th through Tuesday, March 31st.

Schools will reopen on Wednesday, April 1st.

Students MUST pick up their instructional packets and turn them in on April 1st in order to get credit and to receive a grade for the days schools are closed.

For any students who cannot pick up their home instruction packets on Monday, administrators will be at schools on Tuesday, March 17th and will have packets available for students.


Food distribution will begin on Tuesday, March 17th.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be two food distribution sites in each of the City of Paterson’s six wards. The locations will be posted on the district’s website the district’s Facebook page, Instagram account and Twitter account. Students and parents should go to the distribution location closest to their residence.

Seminary Baptist Church, 193 Haledon Avenue

In Ward 2:

Paterson Fire Department (Headquarters), 290 McBride Avenue
Paterson Fire Department (Hillcrest Firehouse), 221 Union Avenue

In Ward 3:

Koinonoa Christian Ministry, 440 East 36th Street
White House/Recreation, 810 Broadway, Eastside Park

In Ward 4:

Paterson Fire Department (Riverside Firehouse), 236 Lafayette Street
St. Luke Baptist Church, 139 Carroll Street

In Ward 5:

Paterson Fire Department (Madison Ave. Firehouse), 850 Madison Avenue
Mighty Sons of God, 77 Park Avenue

In Ward 6:

Paterson Fire Department (Lakeview Firehouse), 211 23rd Avenue
